Creoqode is a London based DIY open-source game console start-up that got investment in a short period of time on Kickstarter. The game console was already designed in black. The client wanted to have a minimal and elegant branding. Therefore, I used black as the primary color and added copper foil in order to refer to the copper used in circuits and create a fun yet elegant look.
For the packaging black and the copper are also the two colors that I used. In front of the package, I created a pattern with dots, since the games created with the game console are modular. On the back of the package and inside the front cover, technical drawings are used as design elements in copper.
The package also includes an assembly booklet describing step by step how to put all the parts together to build your game console before starting to code.
